Step 1: Add your brand

Open BrandPulse and enter the brand you want to track. That's it — no API key, no proxy, no code. The free tier covers one brand on a weekly scan, which is enough to learn the workflow before you commit.

If you already know your top queries, great; if not, you'll add them in the next step.

Step 2: Add competitors (optional but recommended)

List a few competitors, comma- or line-separated. This is what turns a plain "were we cited?" into a gap — on each query you'll see who else the model named. Even one competitor makes the report far more useful.

You can start with one and add more later; the scan picks up the current list each run.

Step 3: Add the queries you care about

Paste the questions buyers ask an AI before they buy — one per line. "best tools for X," "how to do Y," "X vs Y." These define what BrandPulse actually measures, so spend a minute on intent here.

Ten good queries beat fifty vague ones.

Step 4: Run, then watch the trend

Hit scan. BrandPulse runs your queries across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude and shows your citation rate, the competitor gap, and the per-query breakdown. The first run is a baseline; the value comes from the scheduled re-runs that show whether you're gaining or losing.

Pro adds more brands, daily scans, and gap alerts so you don't have to remember to check.
